| Mobile Phones. Our watery environment, poor reception, no charging facilities and a high risk of loss means that phones create many problems and worries. Also they are very much at odds with our ethos of teaching self-reliance and independence. You may bring one for your travel, on the understanding please that you hand it in to the Office for safekeeping as soon as you arrive on Rua Fiola, and collect it on your departure morning.
